Intuitive Mind

The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift —Albert Einstein

Intuition – Is it magic? Imagination? Or is it a real sense that has been dulled through lack of use and denied due to religious superstition. Have you ever had a strong gut feeling that saved your life or caused you not to go in a direction which later you discover would have been disastrous? Using our intuition has had a strong affect upon mankind’s survival from the earliest days to current times. Think of the tragedy with 9/11. Many people experienced an UNFOUNDED sense of fear and dread and as a result did not go into the office that day. This is an extreme example, but there are many variations of déjà vous and gut feelings which, if listened to, save a person money, time, grief, and tears.

Perhaps there is a collective consciousness of possible events before they happen which can be tapped into with training and utilized with action to create a better tomorrow. Perhaps we really do not understand time and its many dimensions. Mankind thinks in linear terms. Currently we have reason to believe time is not a straight or directed thing, but is multidimensional and possibly there are many ‘time’ options at any given point. The prospect of creating your own life path requires ownership and responsibility. Sometimes the ownership or responsibility is more than a person chooses to accept or is willing to relinquish. A good intuitive will see the current path you are following and help you to choose actions that will avert pain and suffering or at least bring you the most happiness.

The third eye is often associated with visions, clairvoyance, precognition, and out-of-body experiences. People who have allegedly developed the capacity to utilize their third eye are sometimes known as seers. Seers and prophets were revered as healers and ministers, they were not feared. The Dark Ages have had a lasting effect. Few realize that modern Christianity has its roots in Wiccan and Mother Nature with deities connected with the Earth and the four seasons. Many who embrace their intuitive side find remarkable happiness, direction, and peace not to mention financial success.

I have been an intuitive for over a decade. My work has helped clarify life altering issues such as marriages, divorces, births, selling and buying homes, relocating, going back to school and a myriad of issues which can block your energy and create a feeling of limbo. An intuitive reading can clear the way for real progress and start the process of creating a life that makes you feel happier. Most honest intuitives view their work as a ministry. There are times when I bring out my Tarot deck, which is just a tool or conduit, and some folks will take a step back as though I will entertain the Devil himself. Tarot is simply a bridge to connect with the energy of the individual. The true reading is from my intuitive nature and as always from my heart.

Karma and Numerology

To get to the rainbow, you must stand through the rain.—unknown poet.
What is karma? Are we doomed to pay back others who we mistreated in this or a previous lifetime? Is karma a monkey on our backs? Is karma an opportunity to reach for a higher level of consciousness? It depends– is the glass half full or half empty?

Karma is a Sanskrit word that means action and has commonly been thought of as punishment for past bad actions and behavior. However, karma is neither judge nor jury. It is simply the universal law of cause and effect that says every thought, word, and act carries energy into the world which affects our present reality. Karma also refers to the work we have ahead of us, which includes lessons from both our past and present lives.

Karmic numbers exist in numerology. Numerology is an ancient science based loosely upon the theory by Pythagoras that all things under the sun and in this universe vibrate to a numeric equation. We know for instance that the Earth travels around the sun in 365 days, days are 24 hours long, night is 12 hours, and a minute is 60 seconds. In the body blood recirculates for a person at rest in about 60 seconds or one minute. If we multiply this further by 24 hours, and again by 365 days in the year and again by 80 years in your life span, the numbers continue in a dazzling unending sequence. Not only does our body divide and multiply, but the world is full of house numbers, phone numbers, and numbers of weights, heights, circumference, lengths, miles, form numbers, document numbers and on and on. Trying to find something without a number attached can be challenging. All humans are assigned many numbers– a driver’s license number, social security number, bank numbers, credit card numbers, weight, height, airline numbers, statistical numbers, medical numbers and far too many more to list. Is there a mathematical symmetry, a delicate balance of numeric qualities, traits and actions? It is clear there is much order and precision operating in the universe.

Karmic number 33 for instance can be found in the addition of the numbers represented by letters in a name. This number has the potential to bring the person who carries it many disappointments in love and daunting obstacles to face with regard to integrity, morality and honesty. This in fact helps explain the age old question “Why Me?” When you carry this number in your name you are often drawn to lover’s triangles and affairs and may find that you must completely start over from the ground up more than once in life. What do you do? Run and hide? Pay up begrudgingly? Far better to understand the numbers that are associated with your name and work with what is in your soul to reach for a better understanding, relieve anger and victim consciousness.
Karma is a debt we owe, however the karmic web is often wound around our lives, desires, and work. Often karma is calling us to a higher path than the one we choose, often teaching us something of great value. For instance the two threes in 33 may stand for some of the energy associated with the number 3 which can be self-interest, fickle and unable to settle down. Or the two 3’s added together total a 6, which is the number of family, love and tradition– the humanitarian number. In reality it is up to you to decide what vibration you choose to express. You are always vibrating from higher and lower expressions of any given number represented by the letters in your birth name. Your soul longs to express the highest possible energy; therefore karma can be what you make of it How you roll with it requires acceptance, forgiveness, and courage.
Always remember that every positive action you take has a positive effect, whether you see it or not. You just need to trust in the universe.

Tarot Revealed

For whereas the mind works in possibilities, the intuitions work in actualities, and what you intuitively desire, that is possible to you. Whereas what you mentally or “consciously” desire is nine times out of ten impossible; hitch your wagon to a star, or you will just stay where you are.
—D. H. Lawrence

Many philosophers have proposed that the passage of time is an illusion suggesting that only the present is real. Is time a river of memories filled with energy from our thoughts? Recent evidence indicates that the past, present, and future are accessible, moving parallel to one another and remaining in the realm of reality. In theory, time travel is a real possibility. Intuitives and psychics who have fine-tuned a sixth sense are able to access the future, past, and present. It is believed that some intuitives are so accurate that they might be compared to technology such as sonar or radar. These technologies (sonar and radar) provide a source of energy (electromagnetic and acoustic, respectively) to “illuminate” the terrain through energy returned from the terrain that is detected by a system and recorded as imagery. Intuition is really not so far-fetched when presented in scientific terms.

Tarot reading is a tool for looking into time. Much like a radio, you can tune into a station or vibration and see or feel the energy of your action and thoughts. Tarot is an ancient system which uses universal archetypes to tell the story of the individual soul. It was originally an esoteric religious system which created an enlightened path for a mystic or scholar. Today, the images on tarot do not reflect modern actions or people, but we can still connect to the universal consciousness and the feeling of the symbology being utilized. These energies create your reality. If you do not see what you want, change your thoughts actions – and you can change your life. Manifest your dreams or circumvent your heartache, you have the power to make an enlightened choice.

In the 1800s a personalized Tarot deck was designed or commissioned for each family. These cards were consulted almost daily for many family occasions, such as births, deaths, health issues, and community events. The same suits are found on common playing cards, which were the original favorites of travelling gypsies and fortune tellers.

A quick guide to the Major Arcana Tarot cards
  • Pentacles – Spring – blooming garden – rebirth
  • Cups – Summer – growth of water lilies – prosperity
  • Wands – Autumn – the leaves ‘falling’ off the branch – renewal
  • Swords- Winter – stark gray skies – perseverance

The Four Suits of Tarot reflect the four directions, the elements,  types of energies, and the seasons.
  • Pentacles– refer to our money, commerce, decisions around business and the spring.
  • Cups– emotions, love, family, relationships and the summer.
  • Wands– the energy of fall and indicates opportunities, business, moving forward,         making progress, or the lack thereof.
  • Swords– reveals endings, loss, illness, leaving something behind, or the winter.

The four suits also correspond to the many systems of four which have been devised by people over the course of history:
  • the four directions or winds (north, south, east, west)
  • the four elements (fire, water, air, earth)
  • the four seasons (winter, spring, summer and fall)
  • the four worlds of the Kabbala (divine, creative, formative and manifest)
  • the four Jungian archetypal functions of the mind (thinking, feeling, sensation and intuition)

The Minor Arcana cards represent people, situations and events in your life. The Major Arcana which consists of 22 cards depicts the actual life journey.
There is a system in place and the tarot serves as an energy guide for the intuitive. The cards are often a starting point and create energy between the two spirits. Tarot is not an exact art. Manifesting what you desire and believing the best will come to you is the true essence of your being.

We deserve all the good in the world, each and every one of us and there is enough prosperity, joy, happiness, and good health for all humanity.

Believe it into being and remember to be positive and live the life you deserve.
